May Trainers 2014
May Trainers (Flat) 2014 by David Renham
This month I am looking at trainer performance in May on the flat. Trainers tend to be creatures of habit and tend to peak / trough at similar times each year. This article is based on UK and Irish Flat trainers in the month of May with data taken from 2009 to 2013.
May sees the start of some of the bigger meetings including the Guineas meeting at Newmarket, the Chester May Meeting and the York Dante meeting.
Firstly let us look at all races during this month.
