Punter Profits – February Trainers
Each month on PunterProfits we focus on past monthly trainer data in the hope to get an edge. This month we are looking back on National Hunt racing in the UK in February from 2009 to 2013. Profits/losses have been calculated to SP; ROI% means return on investment.

Very few trainers stand out – February is an odd month as it is the calm before the storm with the Cheltenham festival taking centre stage in the following month. Many trainers are probably focusing on getting their Cheltenham horses to peak fitness and hence perhaps slightly under-perform in terms of their February charges.
