Nicky Henderson’s record is very impressive – a near 30% strike rate and a small profit on all runners. There are some angles worth noting – firstly Henderson has an excellent record at three courses namely Doncaster, Kempton and Sandown. Combining the three has produced 40 winners from 115 runners (SR 34.8%) for a profit of £65.27 (ROI +56.8%). Also note horses that have been off the track for at least 90 days – they have provided 48 winners from 137 runners (SR 35.0%) for a profit of £45.97 (ROI +33.6%). You also take note of any horses that ran at Aintree LTO as 12 of the 18 horses have won!! Finally keep an eye on LTO winners as they have scored 38% of the time for a return of 15%.
